- completed my first full day of researching at the National Taiwan Normal University's (NTNU) Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) [國立台灣師範大學華語文教學研究所]
- ate lunch at McDonald's [麥當勞]
- ate dinner at Shida Night Market [師大夜市]
- took a stroll through Daan Park [大安森林公園]
- briefly walked through Sogo Dept. Store
1. This is the NTNU building.
The inscription on the statue reads:
校訓[xiàoxùn] = school motto
誠正勤樸 [chéng zhèng qín pǔ] = honest, right, diligent, simple.

Pinyin: bǎn kǎo mǐ xiāng bǎo. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the English translation. Personally, it tasted like a bulgogi burger .

It consisted of a rice patty, slices of sizzling beef, caramelized onions, red cabbage and lettuce. Drink selections included red tea, black tea, milk tea, and iced coffee.
